The Spark collection consists of educational audio-visual materials used for programming, tour and exhibit notes, including audio tour manuals and scripts from the 1990s, student activities, public visitor program logs, an NCAR history collection, and various correspondence and memoranda related to UCAR/NCAR. The Spark collection records demonstrate UCAR/NCAR's commitment to atmospheric science education and the education program's evolution.

DLESE, the Digital Library for Earth System Education, is a geoscience community resource that supports teaching and learning about the Earth system. The components of DLESE, the discovery system, the collection and user services, were built for use of a community of educators, students, and scientists to support Earth system education at all levels and in both formal and informal settings. A Steering Committee elected in 1999 and several standing committees developed the policies needed to construct the library. / The collection includes documents from committees, annual meetings, photographs, and ephemera.

Project Learn Resources (PLR) is a collection of brochures, photographs, negatives, and slides of activities undertaken by teachers, students, mentors and scientists during Project LEARN in the 1990s. The majority are undated.
